Summary
This small, early-stage study aimed to see if a drug called 3,4-diaminopyridine could help patients with severe botulism. Researchers tested the drug on a few patients who had botulism and needed help breathing. They measured changes in muscle strength and breathing ability before and after giving the drug to see if it was effective.
