First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks back at the medical records of 34 people with hemiplegia (paralysis on one side of the body) who received botulinum toxin injections between 2017 and 2020. The goal is to see which muscles were injected, how much toxin was used, and how well it reduced spasticity (muscle tightness) and improved daily function. No new treatments are given—just learning from past results to guide future care.
