Botox injection during prostate surgery eases bladder symptoms better than pills

Summary
This study looked at 70 men with an enlarged prostate and overactive bladder who had prostate surgery. Some received a botulinum toxin injection into the prostate during surgery, while others took standard medications after surgery. The injection group showed greater improvement in bladder symptoms 12 weeks after surgery, based on symptom scores.
