Botox for forehead sweating: a new hope for excessive perspiration?

NCT ID NCT07561580

First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting botulinum toxin (like Botox) into the forehead can safely reduce excessive sweating in people with primary frontal hyperhidrosis. Thirty adults aged 18-40 who have not responded well to antiperspirants will receive one treatment and be checked a month later. The goal is to see if it shrinks the sweaty area and improves how patients feel about their condition.
