Small study tests 'Microtox' for smoother, Younger-Looking skin

NCT ID NCT06604832

Summary

This small, early-stage study tested whether a specific brand of botulinum toxin (PrabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) could improve facial skin quality, fine wrinkles, and texture. Twenty women with mild to moderate wrinkles received one treatment session. Doctors compared the effects of the treatment to a placebo or a different brand on opposite sides of the forehead to see which worked better.
