Needle instead of knife: botox trial offers Surgery-Free option for misaligned eyes
NCT ID NCT07180394
Summary
This study is testing whether Botox injections can effectively treat crossed eyes (strabismus) as an alternative to surgery. Researchers will inject Botox into eye muscles of 127 children and adults with small-to-moderate eye misalignment. They'll measure how well the injections correct eye positioning over one year compared to before treatment.
