Summary

This study tested an investigational drug called BOS-580 (Efimosfermin) in 231 obese adults who had or were at risk for a serious fatty liver disease called NASH. The main goal was to check the drug's safety and how it behaved in the body. Some participants received the drug and others received a placebo, and the study included an extension phase where everyone could receive the drug.
