New yeast infection treatment enters final testing phase

Summary
This study is testing whether boric acid vaginal inserts, used for 7 or 14 days, can safely and effectively treat yeast infections (vulvovaginal candidiasis). It will involve about 400 female participants aged 12 and older who have an active yeast infection. The goal is to see if this treatment can clear the infection and its symptoms better than a placebo.
