Sound waves zapping liver tumors: new study tracks success in 5,000 patients

Summary
This observational study will follow up to 5,000 people with liver tumors who are treated with the HistoSonics Edison system, which uses sound waves (histotripsy) to destroy tumors without needles or surgery. The main goal is to see how well the treatment works right after the procedure and to learn how patient and procedure details affect outcomes. Participants will be monitored for up to 5 years as part of their regular care.
