Can more questions during story time help kids remember words?

NCT ID NCT03586479

Summary

This study tested different ways of reading storybooks to help kindergarten children with specific language impairment learn and remember new words. Researchers compared three versions of interactive reading that asked children to talk about the words different amounts (low, medium, or high testing). They wanted to see which approach helped children learn words better during an 8-week program and remember them longer afterward.
