First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested a new device that collects a patient's own tissue and blood during surgery to coat bone graft materials. The goal was to see if this makes the grafts more effective for healing large bone defects or fractures that won't heal. 100 adults with these bone problems took part, and the device was found to be safe and easy for surgeons to use.
