New jawbone repair technique tested for dental implants

Summary
This study is testing a new bone graft system to help rebuild jawbone in people who need dental implants but have moderate to severe bone loss. Ten patients will have their jawbone repaired using a special semi-rigid shell and bone graft material. Researchers will measure how much new bone grows over four months to see if this system is effective.
