NCT ID NCT01794572

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of high-dose bone marrow radiation and chemotherapy (melphalan) followed by a stem cell transplant in 13 people whose multiple myeloma had returned after initial treatment. The goal was to find the safest radiation dose and see if this approach could better control the disease. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
