Gum fluid proteins may reveal why some dental implants lose bone early
NCT ID NCT07584759
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study measured specific proteins in the fluid around dental implants to see if they differ between implants with and without early bone loss. Researchers studied 118 implants in 59 patients, comparing those with bone loss to healthy ones. The goal was to better understand the biological signals involved, not to test a new treatment.
