First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This small study tests a dental implant method called socket shield, where a piece of the tooth root is kept to help preserve bone. Researchers will add bone graft material mixed with growth factors from the patient's own blood. The goal is to see if this approach reduces bone loss and keeps the implant stable over 6 months. Seven adults needing a front tooth implant will participate.
