Summary

This study tested two different materials used to help grow new jawbone in people who need dental implants. Fourteen adults with missing teeth and bone loss received either a titanium-reinforced dense PTFE membrane or a reinforced PTFE mesh. Researchers measured bone growth using 3D X-rays at 9 and 12 months, and checked healing and complications.
