First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at two ways to place dental implants in people whose jawbone has shrunk after tooth loss. In one group, the implant and bone graft were placed at the same time. In the other group, the bone graft was done first, and the implant was placed later. The goal was to see which approach gives stronger, more stable results. The study included 42 generally healthy adults with at least 3 months of healing after tooth extraction.
