New study tests less invasive option for tough dental bone defects
NCT ID NCT07412067
Summary
This study compares two types of bone grafts used during dental surgery to heal complex bone defects around teeth. Researchers will follow 36 patients for 12 months to see if donor bone grafts work as well as the patient's own bone. The goal is to find a less invasive treatment option that avoids taking bone from another part of the patient's body.
