New bone paste shows promise in repairing defects after tumor surgery

Summary
This study tested a new paste that helps bone grow back after surgery to remove benign bone tumors or cysts. 29 patients had the paste placed into the bone defect during surgery and were followed for 12 months with X-rays to see how well the bone healed. The goal was to see if the paste is safe and effective at helping bone regenerate.
