Scientists probe link between body fat, muscle, and cough power

NCT ID NCT07311837

Summary

This study aims to understand how a person's body composition—like their weight, muscle mass, and waist-to-hip ratio—might be connected to the strength of their cough. Researchers will measure these factors in 46 healthy volunteers aged 18-30. The goal is to gather new knowledge about how body shape and muscle function relate to this important respiratory function.
