Mind-Body boost: new therapy may ease scoliosis struggles in teens

NCT ID NCT07500883

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT) to standard scoliosis exercises can improve body awareness, quality of life, and scoliosis-related outcomes in teens aged 10-17 with idiopathic scoliosis. About 40 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either scoliosis exercises alone or with BBAT added. The goal is to see if the combined approach helps teens feel more in tune with their bodies and improves their daily lives.
