New hope for hard-to-treat colon cancer: immune combo enters human trials
NCT ID NCT07079631
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a new drug (BNT314) to an existing immunotherapy (BNT327) and chemotherapy can help people with advanced colorectal cancer that didn't respond to first-line treatment. About 482 adults with a specific type of colorectal cancer (MSS/pMMR) will receive the combination to see if it shrinks tumors and delays cancer growth. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it, and researchers will closely monitor side effects.
