Can special glasses calm a manic mind? french hospital tests simple light therapy
NCT ID NCT07194278
Summary
This study is testing whether wearing glasses that block blue light is a practical and helpful tool for people hospitalized with a manic episode of bipolar disorder. Researchers will enroll 25 adults to see if they can wear the glasses for a week and if doing so might help reduce manic symptoms and improve sleep. The main goal is to check if this kind of study is feasible to run, while also gathering early clues about whether the glasses could be beneficial.
