Blue dye could help surgeons spot hidden ureter injuries

Summary

This study tests a blue dye called Bludigo to help surgeons see if urine is flowing properly from the kidneys during surgery. It includes 48 adults with different levels of kidney function. The dye is injected and compared to salt water to see which makes urine flow easier to spot.
