Hands-On training beats leaflets for infant emergency skills
NCT ID NCT07567638
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a short, hands-on workshop helps parents and caregivers of infants learn basic life support better than just reading an information leaflet. 63 parents of babies under 6 months old took part, and their knowledge was measured before and after each type of training. The goal is to find the best way to prepare families for life-threatening emergencies like choking or cardiac arrest in infants.
