Should you stop your blood thinner for a colonoscopy? major trial seeks answer

NCT ID NCT07185295

Summary

This study aims to find out if it's safe for people who take daily blood thinners to continue taking them when they have polyps removed during a colonoscopy. It compares two approaches: continuing the medication versus temporarily stopping it before the procedure. The main goal is to see which method leads to fewer serious bleeding problems in the 30 days after polyp removal.
