Summary

This study looks at whether it is safe to continue taking blood-thinning medication during the removal of colon or rectal polyps. It involves 481 adults who regularly use blood thinners and need a planned colonoscopy. The main goal is to compare how often serious bleeding occurs within 30 days between those who keep taking their medication and those who pause it.
