Heart valve patients test new blood thinner to prevent clots and bleeding

Summary
This study compares two types of blood-thinning medications for people who have received a mechanical aortic heart valve. It aims to find out which drug is better at preventing dangerous blood clots while also causing fewer serious bleeding problems. The trial will involve about 1,300 participants who are at least three months past their valve replacement surgery.
