Simple blood test could help doctors tailor liver cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07414433

Summary

This study aims to find out if specific substances in the blood can predict how well patients with liver cancer will respond to a standard treatment called chemoembolization (TACE). Researchers will follow 60 patients receiving this standard care, taking blood samples before and after treatment. They will compare the blood test results with standard CT or MRI scans to see if the blood tests can reliably indicate treatment success earlier.
