Blood test could spare lung cancer patients from unnecessary treatment and side effects
NCT ID NCT05889247
Summary
This study tests whether a simple blood test can better monitor treatment for advanced lung cancer compared to standard CT scans. It aims to help doctors stop ineffective treatments sooner, reduce unnecessary side effects, and potentially shorten treatment duration for some patients. The trial will involve 350 people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer receiving immunotherapy.
