New blood test could replace risky biopsies for transplant patients

Summary
This study aims to validate a new blood test that measures donor DNA to detect kidney transplant rejection. Researchers will enroll 125 adult kidney transplant recipients and compare the test results to the current standard method, which is an invasive biopsy. The goal is to see if this simpler blood test can accurately identify rejection without the need for a surgical procedure.
