Can a simple blood test predict Cancer's return?
NCT ID NCT03896412
Summary
This study tested whether a personalized blood test could detect tiny bits of cancer DNA in the blood of patients with advanced head and neck cancer. Researchers created a unique test for each of the 40 participants based on their specific tumor. They tracked the cancer DNA levels before and after surgery, and for 18 months afterward, to see if it could predict if the cancer would come back.
