Summary

This study is testing a new blood test to detect early signs of organ rejection in people who have received a heart or lung transplant. The test looks for tiny pieces of DNA from the donor organ in the patient's blood, which may signal rejection before serious damage occurs. Researchers hope this non-invasive method can replace the need for frequent, painful tissue biopsies and help doctors treat problems sooner.
