Blood test trial aims to catch six deadly cancers earlier

NCT ID NCT04405557

Summary

This study is testing whether a blood test that looks for tumor DNA (ctDNA) can help find six common cancers early in people at high risk. It enrolled 757 adults aged 45+ who had abnormal screening results or other risk factors. Researchers are checking how accurate the blood test is and how long it takes from a positive test to a cancer diagnosis.
