Could a simple blood test replace colonoscopy for cancer screening?

NCT ID NCT07046585

Summary

This study is testing how well a new blood test can find colon cancer in people at average risk. Researchers will compare the blood test results to findings from a standard colonoscopy in 25,000 participants. The goal is to see if the blood test is accurate enough to be used as a simpler screening option.
