Summary
This study aimed to find new ways to diagnose chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a brain condition linked to repeated head injuries. Researchers analyzed blood samples from 120 people, including athletes and others with a history of concussions, to look for specific proteins and genetic markers. The goal was to develop a blood test that could help doctors identify the disease more easily in the future.
