First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a portable blood testing device (i-STAT 1) gives the same results as standard lab equipment for measuring potassium and ionized calcium. About 425 adults will provide a small blood sample from a finger prick. The goal is to confirm the portable test is reliable for quick results.
