Summary
This study aimed to find out how long blood samples taken from adults in intensive care remain accurate for 17 different tests, like oxygen and electrolyte levels. Researchers tested samples stored in special syringes at room temperature for up to 45 minutes. The study was terminated early, so final results are limited.
