Less invasive blood pressure check tested in prostate surgery
NCT ID NCT07349186
Summary
This study is testing whether a standard arm-cuff blood pressure monitor works as well as a more invasive arterial line at preventing dangerously low blood pressure during robotic prostate surgery. Researchers will compare both methods in 210 men undergoing this specific surgery. The goal is to see if the simpler, less invasive method can provide equally good protection against blood pressure drops.
