Summary
This study looks at how three common blood pressure medications (beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, and calcium channel blockers) affect balance and fall risk in adults newly diagnosed with high blood pressure. About 186 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the three drugs and tested at the start, after 2 weeks, and after 4 weeks. The goal is to help doctors choose the safest medication for each patient.
