Could your blood pressure pill make you fall? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07099677
Summary
This study aims to see if three common types of blood pressure medications affect a person's balance and risk of falling. Researchers will randomly assign 186 adults with newly diagnosed high blood pressure to take one of three different drugs. They will measure participants' balance and ask about dizziness and fear of falling over four weeks to see if one medication is safer than the others.
