Could your blood pressure pill also fight pneumonia after a stroke?
NCT ID NCT07262710
Summary
This study looks back at health records to see if two common types of blood pressure drugs (ACE inhibitors and ARBs) might help lower the risk of getting pneumonia after someone has a stroke. It will compare people who started these drugs to people who started a different type of blood pressure medication. The goal is to gather information that could help guide future treatment decisions for stroke survivors.
