New device aims for more accurate baby blood pressure readings

NCT ID NCT05976425

Summary

This study tested a new automated blood pressure cuff designed for newborns and infants. The goal was to see if the device's measurements were accurate enough to meet international standards. The test involved comparing the cuff's readings to direct measurements taken from an artery in babies who already had a special line in place for medical care.
