Could controlling blood pressure save Kids' bones during cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT04401267

Summary

This study tested whether keeping blood pressure in a tighter, lower range could prevent severe bone damage (osteonecrosis) in children and young adults being treated for a type of blood cancer (acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma). It compared a more intensive blood pressure control approach to a standard one. The goal was to see if this simple intervention could reduce a painful and debilitating side effect of cancer therapy.
