Summary
This study aims to create a mathematical model to help doctors better predict and manage blood transfusions during children's heart surgery. Researchers will observe 50 pediatric patients under 18 years old undergoing heart surgery at Boston Children's Hospital. The goal is to understand the right amounts of blood products to use and reduce risks like blood cell damage during these complex procedures.
