Can a 'Blood Flow' workout ease crippling knee pain before surgery?
NCT ID NCT07300384
Summary
This study is testing if a special type of low-weight exercise, which briefly restricts blood flow to the leg, can provide immediate pain relief for people with severe knee arthritis. It will compare two different ways of applying the pressure during exercise. The goal is to see if this method can help manage pain in patients who are waiting for knee replacement surgery.
