Could a blood flow trick speed up knee recovery?
NCT ID NCT06762392
Summary
This study is testing if adding a therapy called Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) to standard rehab exercises helps people recover better after ACL knee surgery. BFR involves wearing a cuff on the leg during light exercise to potentially build strength faster. Researchers will compare recovery in 40 adults who get standard rehab alone versus those who get rehab plus BFR over 12 weeks.
