First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested a training method that uses a cuff to lightly restrict blood flow during low-intensity arm exercises. The goal was to see if it helps stroke survivors with weakness on one side improve arm movement, strength, and ability to do daily tasks. 70 participants completed the program, and researchers measured grip strength, arm function, and independence in activities like dressing and bathing.
