First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a type of exercise that uses a cuff to partly block blood flow to the leg can help reduce pain in people with severe knee osteoarthritis. 45 adults aged 50-85 who are waiting for knee replacement will do two different exercise sessions, one with steady cuff pressure and one with changing pressure. The goal is to see which method works better for short-term pain relief.
