Cuff trick boosts heart rehab gains

Summary

This study looks at whether using a blood flow restriction cuff during some exercises can help people with stable heart disease get stronger and feel better. Twenty adults in a maintenance cardiac rehab program will do resistance training with and without the cuff over 20 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in strength, heart health, quality of life, and sleep.
